Born in Ludwigshafen in 1963 and raised there. Completed theater training at the Institute for Applied Theater Studies in Gießen, studying under George Tabori, Heiner Müller, Hans Thieß-Lehmann, and Adolf Dresen. Graduated in 1989.
In 1989, founded Theater Montage in Frankenthal/Pfalz with Peer Damminger, René Pollesch, and other university graduates. In 1995, established the KiTZ Theaterkumpanei Ludwigshafen/Rhein, where she works as an author, director, and actress.
Engagements at Theater am Turm, Frankfurt, and Nationaltheater Mannheim/SCHNAWWL. Also appeared as an actress in two productions for ZDF's "Das kleine Fernsehspiel."
Awards:
1996: Foundation Prize for the Promotion of Art in Pfalz for outstanding achievements in the field of theater.
2001: Paul Maar Scholarship.
2004: Heidelberg Theater Prize for "Nepal" (Director).
2007: Theater Prize at the 14th Isfahan International Festival for Children and Young Adults in Iran for "Albin und Lila" (Director and Actress).
2008: "Children's Theater of the Month" in NRW with "Albin und Lila" (Director and Actress).
2009: Theater Prize at the 16th Isfahan International Festival for Children and Young Adults in Iran for "Doktor Auwieweh."
2010: Theater Prize at the 17th Hamedan International Festival for Children and Young Adults in Iran for "Sultan und Kotzbrocken" as "Best Play."
