A play based on the children's book by Maritgen Matter.
Hungry, lonely wolf meets naive sheep for the purpose of planning a joint dinner. Can this end well?
In the story by Maritgen Matter, it certainly does. Here, a wolf promises an unsuspecting sheep the world: delightful adventures in the snow, searching for the mysterious "City" Experiences that break the monotony of sheep life.
And the sheep, the foolish thing? It falls for it hook, line, and sinker. It leaves its cozy abode and ventures into the wilderness with the stranger. The only thing the wolf wants, of course, is to eat the sheep.
After a genuinely perilous sled ride, a plunge into icy waters, and a feverish night, there's a catch: what likes each other, doesn't eat each other.
A play about cleverness, scruples, decency, and a friendship that transcends all differences.

The sole prop, a bed with numerous blankets, transforms with a few deft touches into a sledding hill, a winter forest, a frozen lake. Imagination is sparked, painting enchanting images in the minds of the young audience.

The production doesn't pretend to depict a picture-perfect world. Rather, it sees itself as a guide on how to cope with fears.
