How the animals show a lazy farmer what a rake is!
"Hanging laundry, collecting eggs, feeding the farm dog, cooking pot roast – that's the work on the farm for the young Aylesbury duck. Ah! – and also milking cows, shearing sheep, and, of course, darning socks. Huh? What does the farmer actually do? Well, he lies lazily in his feathers, eats chocolates, and bosses the duck around. 'How's the work going?' echoes across the yard. 'Quack,' says the duck. 24/7 – every day, around the clock.
No wonder the duck, ripe for slaughter from exhaustion, wants to disappear. But the cow, the chickens, the sheep, and especially the dog won't let it go that far. Together, they discuss what to do in this tricky situation. Because one thing is clear: the farmer has to go. But how?
Moo-buck-baa-woof is the plan with which they drive the duck oppressor off the farm. From then on, everyone gets a turn to be the farmer. And whenever someone is the farmer, the others do the work."
A play about solidarity and the courage to stand up for others.
